Well hello down there! Nice to see you.

Y'know, these woods and waters are near and dear to Babe and me. But we weren't the first folks drawn here by the beauty and bounty of this place. People have been coming here for thousands of years. And what a story that is!

If you like, I can tell you all about it. Why, I've got tales about lumberjacks and railroaders— even giant beavers and 50-foot fish! What do you say we take a little tour and I'll fill you in as we go.

I guess the best place to start is at any one of the sites along the Byway. Just check out the map and take your pick. Babe and I'll be waiting for you, to spin some yarns and get you acquainted with our wonderful Legacy of Legends, Lakes and Land!
