Trails along Paul's Scenic Byway— monitor and maintain signage and trails.
Scenic Byway interpretive kiosks— monitor and maintain supply of maps in kiosk boxes, monitor and maintain signage and kiosks.
Historic Fire Tower— SOFT-T group and PBSBA are still involved with the community of Pequot Lakes to work with the MN DNR in rescuing the historic lookout, but now its future is uncertain. The site is currently CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC until further notice.
School Connections— PBSBA contributes to students in our communities, from Paul Bunyan Reading Trips where K-6 graders can listen to tall tales read aloud by a 'Paul Bunyan' volunteer dressed as Paul Bunyan Himself; to the Linda Ulland Memorial Scholarship, awarded to a qualifying senior demonstrating interests in environmental issues, participation in community service or volunteerism.
Parade helpers— coordinate with many volunteers to decorate float, even ride in the parade. Or Join in the 'Pots and Pans' Band.
Storytellers— calling all story fans! Have a knack for telling a fun story? Come see us.
Special event assistance— help setting up registrations, working with visitors and hanging signage
Scrapbooking— help organize and creatively scrapbook the Byway's many news clippings.
