Members and attendees wore their best camp duds on Monday November 9, 2015 at Bites Grill & Bar, in Pine River. 

The Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway Association (PBSBA) has a variety of objectives, but perhaps one of the most rewarding is the Association’s outreach to students from kindergarten to high school.

Throughout the summer of 2008, re-enactors will present music and stories about the area now served by the Paul Bunyan National Scenic Byway.

There are now fifty four miles in the collection of county roads that make up the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway. In 1998, when the Byway was officially designated, there were forty eight miles.

Learning more is taking on a new and added complexion now with the development of a scholarship.

Viggo Vikkerson was the newest member of Paul Bunyan’s logging crew, just off the boat from Norway. He was a tall, strapping young fellow, lanky and limber and spry.
