Thank you for your interest in the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway Association.
Over the years, the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway Association has accomplished a lot — developed the Veterans Walking Trail and Wetlands Walk on County Road 16, introduced live, free performances (which shared part of our regional history), and produced many, promotional projects (podcasts, webisode, maps, tour brochures) for visitors and residents alike. The majority of this projects and programs were executed by the commitment of businesses and residents like you, leveraging their time, energy and dollars against numerous state and federal grants.
In fact, more than $400,000 in cash and in-kind Byway investments have been matched to various grants to finance nearly $650,000 in projects along the Byway. Through its many projects over the past 10 years, the Byway Association has generated at least seven jobs with over $270,000 in labor income pumped into the local economy.
The economic impact of the projects by the byway does not include estimates of the value of the donated time put into the projects by the byway volunteers. The summation of that effort significantly increases the impact.
Yet, none of these things could have been accomplished without hundreds of supporters. The Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway and its Association is your organization. And with your assistance, we can do even more. Helping is easy; here's how!
