Nov. 8 annual meeting marks 25 years of Byway

The Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway Association's annual celebration and fundraising dinner will be Wednesday, Nov. 8, from 5-8:15 pm at Moonlite Bay Restaurant's upper level, Pub 33.
This year marks the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway's 25th anniversary as a designated state scenic byway, with national designation awarded in 2006.
National Scenic Byways Foundation Director Sharon Strouse will be the keynote speaker. Strouse has been involved with the National Scenic Byway Program since 1997 and is an emeritus professor with the Ohio State UNiversity Extension and Community Development Program.
Hear more about the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway Association's Linda Ulland Memorial Scholarship program that has awarded $1,000 per year to local students since 2012.
Enjoy a presentation from the Byway's cooperative partner, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Learn a thing or two about upcoming projects and dig into a lumberjack approved dinner of Swedish meatballs, overseen by the famous Bunyan camp personality, Ole the Big Swede.
So, pull out your Bunyan plaid and plan now to attend the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway Association's 2023 annual dinner on Nov. 8!
