Bob Scharenbroich of Black Pine Beach Resort recently donated several hours of time to measure the existing cement Bunyan footprints at the Crosslake Chamber site, recalculate the measurements down to two-thirds of the original size, and create a physical pattern of the resized footprint.

The foldable cardboard pattern was delivered to the Crosslake Corps of Engineers staff on Monday, April 3. Volunteers will create a form from the cardboard pattern and a concrete set of Paul Bunyan footprints will be poured near the outdoor leaf-shaped classroom area at the Linda Ulland Memorial Gardens.
