The board is currently looking for volunteers and additional board members. Meetings are held quarterly. Email info@paulbunyanscenicbyway.org or call 218-821-0021 if you’d like to join the board or contact us below.

  • Build awareness of the byway through community and regional projects and events — prioritizing multi-community themes and/or interesting stories from the area’s past, ensuring the preservation of those stories.
  • Develop area amenities, free to the public, such as gardens, an interpretive room, informational waysides, hiking trails, and more paved shoulders as bikeways.
  • Foster cooperation and collaboration among the jurisdictions touched by the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway in preserving and enhancing the byway’s resources.
  • Grow the Byway Association’s fiscal strength, community involvement, and long-term commitment.
