Goals of the Byway Association
- Build awareness of the byway through community and regional projects and events — prioritizing multi-community themes and/or interesting stories from the area’s past, ensuring the preservation of those stories.
- Develop area amenities, free to the public, such as gardens, an interpretive room, informational waysides, hiking trails, and more paved shoulders as bikeways.
- Foster cooperation and collaboration among the jurisdictions touched by the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway in preserving and enhancing the byway’s resources.
- Grow the Byway Association’s fiscal strength, community involvement, and long-term commitment.
