It’s a Pleasure to Meet You

The Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway Association is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose membership is comprised individuals, businesses, agencies, and organizations.

The Byway Association is managed by a group of volunteer board members working closely with a variety of partners in the area.

  • Build awareness of the byway through community and regional projects and events — prioritizing multi-community themes and/or interesting stories from the area’s past, ensuring the preservation of those stories.
  • Develop area amenities, free to the public, such as gardens, an interpretive room, informational waysides, hiking trails, and more paved shoulders as bikeways.
  • Foster cooperation and collaboration among the jurisdictions touched by the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway in preserving and enhancing the byway’s resources.
  • Grow the Byway Association’s fiscal strength, community involvement, and long-term commitment.
